Just over two weeks to go, let the shenanigans begin

Starts at 8.00pm AEST on Wednesday 8th July, the same time State of Origin 3 will kick off (well, kick of is usually around 8.20pm or something like that)

Where will your loyalties be? Or like me will you be flicking from one to the other every 1-2 minutes. I am assuming the test will be on GEM till the Origin match is over?

Trevor Bayliss is the new Poms coach

EDIT:

Tour Match: Kent v Australians at Canterbury on Jun 25-28, 2015
20:00 AEST

Tour Match: Essex v Australians at Chelmsford on Jul 1-4, 2015
20:00 AEST

Lead up games will be important to assess Harry, I would think thats where most of the interest will be prior to the first test.

It's gotta be tempting to drop Watto and play four quicks + Lyon.

All of Harris, Johnson, Hazlewood and Starc are capable of hitting the occasional 30 odd with the bat which is all you get from Watto these days.

Mitch Marsh not doing much better.

Almost think we'd be better using Shaun marsh and Voges at 5 and six and having Voges send some overs down.

I think thats one of the reasons he was picked in the squad, no doubt he can bat but now days that's not enough.

I much prefer MMarsh over Watson as I really rate him but this is not a bad option if the pitch suits.

Harry 11 overs and no wickets, I think he could be looking at some test matches but not the first one unless he cleans up in the next warm up match.

what a gun, shame I didn't get to see his head bobble around while he was batting

he looks like one of those dogs that people put in the back of their car

Not so interested in wickets tbh, more that they're bowling well.

Sounds like MJ was very sharp though, which is promising.

Astonished that any of you think Watson won't be one of the first picked...

He's world class, and no doubt smashing it in the nets... just a matter of time before is falls in place - smart money is on 5th test

This team is coming last and you'd think a world class bowler should be able to nick one or two of them out, but yeh, you have a point and I didn't get to see him bowl or how many times he beat the bat.

Shame to see Watto falling short of another first class triple quiney.

Bloke must be hitting a form slump.

MMarsh could make a double ton and take 10 wickets in the next warm up match and Watson will still be picked because he apparently used to be good a few years ago.

His chances of doing either are about as remote as Wattos.

I'd be going Voges and S Marsh at 5 and 6 with Smith, Clarke and Voges to share any fifth bowler duties.
