Warner's production has been below average for a long time. He just has not been worth the drama since his suspension. It is a classic case of selectors being afraid to drop a big name. When has a power hitter with limited technical ability seen a late career resurgence in their late 30s? Better players than Warner like Gilchrist and Hayden couldn't do it. For 2 years Warner has shown zero indication he is worth sticking with.
