mathematically yes but as far as batting goes there is virtually nothing

you cant take a no 5 and move him to No 4 and blame his batting position for his failing or success, thats just a load of sh*t

batting positions are so overrated, look at Junior and Gilly who opened in ODI and batted down the order in test cricket, means nothing

I couldn't agree more on batting positions being over-rated. The only time when it feels slightly different is when you are opening and you don't get that nervous feel inside as you don't have to wait to bat.
