There is another test match starting tomorrow other than the GABBA one

First of 4 test matches starts Thursday around 3.30pm (I think) AEDT

South Africa have already won the t20 series and the ODI series over there, in reality they should go close to win this test series as well

Im gonna miss the whole Gabba test due to work commitments, so will be watching this one a far bit as Ill catch half a days play every day. You are all welcome to join me

India 5/103 and South Africa are well on top.

Although Jadeja is no mug with the bat.

 @ team India.

What a great day it is...

- Three test matches (all televised)
- Australia 2/389, best first day batting performance ever at the Gabba (eclipsing their 2/364 vs England in 2002)
- Warner and Khawaja both scoring centuries
- BCCI getting rissoled by South Africa on a pitch that Ravi Shastri and all the other fanatical Tendulkar-worshippers on Cricinfo are going to have another bitch about (like he did in Mumbai)
- England brought crashing back down to earth in the UAE, 7/120 at lunch and most likely going to lose the series

Summer's arrived too early for me!

Funny how the Indian cricket team's performances turn to crap the minute Ravi Shastri became the director of their side:lol:

Could never stand him as a commentator (although he would've been much better sticking to it), especially when he was alongside Sunil Gavaskar - two of the biggest sore losers of the cricket media. But his (and the typical Indian cricket fan's) victim mentality is just laughable, and taking his rampant stupidity to another level:

Sucked in Ravi! Your beloved Tendulkar ain't there anyone to bail the side out.

IND 7/196 after 66overs.

Jadeja and Ashwin are doing their best.

Jadeja 38 off 91.
Ashwin 20 off 42.

p/ship is 42 off 93.

de Villiers is playing a different sport to anyone else in the world, they're not perfect but the most well rounded side going around

f**k I wish the aussie batsmen could battle like the SA blokes did. Elgar and Amla going very slowly, but surviving.

From cricinfo:

AWESOME AMLA
490

Runs scored by Amla in his last 3 Test innings in India, for one dismissal. His scores: 253*, 114, 123*.

So South Africa crumbled besides De Villiers.

Another good knock from Vijay with a crucial 47.

IND would be satisfied with a lead of 320 imo.

South Africa don't want to have to chase anymore than 250.

Day 2

India 2/125 (lead of 142)

still 3 days to go, id imagine India would want to bat all day today if they can and probably be ahead by 360-400 at stumps, then bat maybe for an hour on day 4.

With no top class spinner and Steyn out of action it appears, India should pile on the runs and should go 1-0 up. It is their test to lose now.
