Zimbabwe doing well to go into the sheds only 2 down where it could have gone horribly wrong after losing their 2nd wicket.

Very good 1st session for BD but they should have gotten more wickets. Robiul easily the pick of the bowlers although a couple of deliveries strayed down legside. Other then that he was very tight and bowled a couple of a jaffa of deliveries. Zim simply had no answer. Maruma is a middle order batsmen and should never have been sent up to open the batting. The poor guy never opened the batting his whole life! Zim are struggling but were lucky not to be 50/4. The partnership of Taylor/Hamilton is brewing and Bangladesh really need to break it to put Zim under more pressure

Bangladesh will be really dissapointed at the end of day's play. They were absolutely on top of Zim and looked like rattling them further but the match got away from them. The Waller/Taylor partnership turned the game on its head. Credit to Zim for just hanging in there and getting the runs. Interesting Day 2 coming up

Zim edging towards a very competitive total. They still have a bit of batting to come with the likes of S. Masakadza and Meth. If they can bat till tea then it will put the Bangerz under pressure.

Zim put on a very good total on the board. They didn't by any means dominate the attack rather they went about their business and built a good total. Bangladesh have replied swiftly to be on 95/1 at the end of day's play. Bangladesh will be happy with that.

Disgraceful batting from Bangladesh. They came into Day 3 having a defensive approach to batting and they pretty much left every ball, even the ones that were fuller and should have been dispatched for boundaries. I guess it was disciplined bowling for Zim but Bangerz have only themselves to blame for that dismal showing.

Zim now on a huge lead. A win for Bangladesh is never going to happen so the only option is to draw the match. They need to hang in there when they come into bat again.

Just another interesting thing. Brendon Taylor has carried Zim in terms of the runs and Robiul has carried Bangladesh in terms of the wickets.

Bangladesh need to be banished to playing against Vatican City or Andorra. They are absolutely rooted. They have about as much mental toughness as a chicken. The difference between the two sides is that Zim want to win, they approach each test match wanting to win it even though they are often hopelessly outgunned. The bangles on the other hand still, after 12 years, have the mindset that improving bit by bit is enough. It's not good enough.

That said I'm glad Zim are doing very nicely.

Brendan taylor is a hell of a player

He would get a game for South Africa, + he would average more with better support around him
