once again "Marshall (sic) Stalin" reveals himself as a fraud by his misuse of the apostrophe - "bronco's" ? bronco, who is this signor bronco and what does he own. His avatar is full of poor grammar and misplaced apostrophes; something no true child of the Soviet Union would display; communism had many faults but poor grammar was not one of them.
However, a two conference comp has some merits but an interstate conference would need to have their enormous transport costs subsidised by the NRL or else the Sydney conference would have a big financial advantage.

We could call the groups "Conferences", make the winners of each Conference play in a "Superbowl".

How's that for an original idea?

We could make forward passes legal, & even make the players wear helmets!

Let's not be melodramatic. Just because America does something doesn't in itself make it a bad idea any moreso than an idea from Europe, the AFL or anywhere else. Nor does it mean that we'd do it exactly the same way or follow them in any other totally unrelated matter. Whether America does or doesn't use conference systems is totally irrelevant to the discussion of whether they'd be suitable for the NRL.

How About This As The Players Struggle At The Moment To Play Every Game Shorten The Season To One Home & Away Round But Bring Back A Pre-season Cup Some Thing Shorter Like 20 Minute Halves A Round Robin Four Teams In A Pool You Could Even Have More Double Headers And Get Really Big Crowds To The Games.
