Some vintage Eddie Murphy there mixed in with the genius of Richard Pryor. Good choices.

Totally agree with Legend and his choices ... Mel Brooks, what a GOD. Ive seen them all, and loved them all too, but Ferris Buellers Day Off should be there too :)

I love John Hughes comedies as they are clever and warm and some of the parts of Planes, Trains and Automobiles are hilarious.

When John Candy drives in between the trucks on the wrong side of the road is my favourite part.

I think its absolutely hilarious when Steve Martin has to go back to the rental agency when his car is missing. The look on his face is priceless and then he unleashes a barrage of obsenities at the desk clerk.

That alone my friend shows you have EXCELLENT taste. Wonderful, just loved it back then, and still now. It may have been set in the 60s, but that movie will NEVER date. Its a true classic.

You guys can't be serious...

Baseketball?? Date Movie?? Two of the most abysmal comedies of all time...

Baseketball is a huge dig at professional sports in how they go over the top in certain things such as naming rights, givaways, ownership etc. Having seen and followed Yank sports for along time its very appealing to me but to each their own.

I wasn't aware a movie had to have aged before being considered classically funny.
