Your posts give me goosebumps.
I honestly didn't expect so may fans from other clubs to be willing us on
to win. I knew that some people would feel sympathy for the underdog,
but the absolute avalanche of support and good wishes has stunned me.
And the best thing about the score and the game, is that we won it
convincingly -- fair and square. No line ball calls, no suspect tries, no-one
in the bin -- nothing.
THE WIN WAS OURS -- COMPLETELY OURS.
The fact that the wonderful Satts is leaving us has made this even more
special. Every time I saw him through the season, I kept telling him that
we were all praying for him to get the trophy this year, because nobody
wanted to see him either go without a trophy altogether or (god forbid),
get one with another club.
Thank goodness Super Satts got the trophy he wanted so badly, and he
got it with the club and the team mates that he loves so much. The pure
joy on his face at the full time siren will stay with me forever.
GOD I'M GOING TO MISS HIM SO MUCH.
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE A PANTHER IN YOUR HEART AND OURS.
