In fairness to Vagana not being much of an on-field speaker, take a good look at Darren Lockyer.

You don't see him barking and ordering his players and he still does a good job. Take the 2001 QLD captaincy for example. Look back at last week's debacle. I cringe to think what would have happened if we'd had a notorious talker like Toovey in charge of us. Then it might have been 12 men each team.

The Non-speaking Captain kept his cool and look who won?

A Good captain leads by example, not by his mouth.

Although Noddy would not be my first choice as Captain, I still don't have any beef with his selection, although I would rather Peachey because he seemed to be playing a hell of a lot better when it was a 'burden' to him.

With a change of coach (which hasnt been confirmed) there could be a number of possibilities but.......... its gonna be hard enough to keep Kimmorley as it is. If a new coach took the captaincy off him you may as well say bye bye Brett. I doubt a new coach would do this.
If Ando is coach its not worth discussing as it wont happen.

So very well said booyah.

I dont believe that "burden" story for a second. Peachey loved that captaincy and he thrived on it.

Kimmorley on the other hand has said in the past that the captaincy has negatively impacted on his play. I dont remember any such complaints from THE PEACH MAN.

I actually think him losing the captaincy had a negative effect on him, the team, the club.
Another golden decision by the worst coach in the NRL.

Peach is a better captain than Noddy and should be returned to his rightful position in my opinion. Noddy needs to concentrate on his game instead of whinging to the ref every five minutes.

Who was it who suggested Nutley should be captain?

You're kidding. Good captains don't give away 6-7 penalties a game through stupid crap.
