That sux, the 3 teams I look forward to the Bulldogs playing are in the same group. (raiders, eels, dragons). Plus we only get the extra bye (souths) once.

Doesnt some stupid Canadian computer company make these draws up? No wonder its so pathetic, the Bulldogs and Parramatta played each other once this year, plus Melbourne and Sharks played each other twice in five rounds.

No idea who makes the draw, but the pools are determined by finishing position on the table after 26 rounds. It's not ideal, but we're stuck with it at the moment!

Teams in pool "C" will play top 8 teams 14 times next year.
Teams in Pools "A" & "B" will play top 8 teams 13 times

Just a point but I would of thought Souths would be in pool a or b...

The numbering system they have used in relation to which pool each team ends up in is strange I think
Pool A:
Panthers ...........1
Warriors ...........6
Knights .............7
Sharks ............12
Wests Tigers.....13

Pool B:
Roosters...........2
Storm ..............5
Broncos ...........8
Cowboys .........11
Sea Eagles ......14

Pool C:
Bulldogs .........3
Raiders ..........4
Eels ...............9
Dragons ........10
Rabbitohs ......15

Though in hindsight and just numbering them they way I would have thought they would be numbered Souths still end up in Pool "C"...

I get.....
Pool A
Penrith........1st
Canberra.....4th
Newcastle...7th
saints.........10th
Wests.........13th

pool B
Roosters ...2nd
Storm........5th
Broncos.....8th
Nth Qld.....11th
Manly

pool C
Bulldogs... 3rd
Warriors....6th
Eels..........9th
Sharks....12th
Souths....15th

Pool "B" stays the same

(PLEASE DONT ASK WHAT POINT IM TRYING TO PROVE)
:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Souths....15th

total = 45

Pool "B" stays the same

so altho the NRL one isnt perfect (ie 40 for all pools), its much fairer than your proposed system

This sucks. For the 2nd year we play one of our biggest rivals Parra only once and now we play one of our other traditional rivals, St George, once too. Both those games would have drawn huge crowds. Add to that we only get to smash Souths once and this all = the Bulldogs getting jipped.

Yeah it's done by a Canadian company but the reason the draw is so spastic is because of all the requests from clubs.... Each club has a bunch of requests (like the Broncos with as few home games as possible for the start of this season due to no Suncorp Stadium).

Have you forgotten Round 9? And the fact that you've forgotten to buy anyone good for next year again?

BTW, I was talking to Chile, not you :p

The fact that pools are based on the previous years performances is stupid.

Here's last years pools and what they added up to this year

A

Dogs 3
Sharks 12
Eels 9
Cowboys 11
Panthers 1

Total = 36

B

Warriors 6
Roosters 2
Dragons 10
Storm 5
Tigers 13

Total = 36

C

Knights 7
Broncos 8
Raiders 4
Sea Eagles 14
Rabbitohs 15

Total = 49

It sorta shows that it didn't end all equal.
