2005-highs and lows

What has been your highs/lows in Rugby League in 2005? Any shocks/disappointments/surprises etc etc. I'd say for me seeing the bulldogs play so bad this year would be a disappointment, the signing of Soreknee Bill Williams and Willie Mason was great, and seeing Fatty become unwell was a sad thing. Have you got anything to add?

Highs = the first 12 rounds or so

Lows = EVERY f**king GAME SINCE.

*edit

Except for the hammering of Manly, that was a high;-)

Penrith:

Lows: Being the first team to be beaten by Newcastle, losing Ben Ross, Galuvao, Ben Pomeroy and Tony Puletua's season ending injury.

Highs: Still somehow having a chance at making the finals, Paul Franze's try with 49 seconds to go to beat Brisbane.

I'd also like to add thati'm disappointed that the bulldogs have not re-signed Tony Grimaldi yet. Also seeing Souths go well was good too

Highs: Derby win over Sharks (first time I'd been to Kogarah), flogging of the roosters, comfortable win over the broncos at suncorp. Pretty much the last six wins in a row.

Lows: First four rounds. Nothing really since.

For me seeing the bulldogs army getting broken up by selling a limit of 4 tix per person was disappointing, it was entertaining at he games havin the army there (not the firecrackers etc). Also surprised to see penrith not play so well

Andrew Johns doesn't have the prove to anyone that he's the best football player in the world. Everyone knows he is
