i hope sheens saw a kid called karl johnson, centre/winger who has a good swerve and jink, who continually breaks the line with good footwork, strong fend and deception and speed.

or maybe the fastest player in nzl milisi manu

as for big guys, try vince whare at 125kg and 185cm,who played alongside shane beyers last year and was the players player of the year last year.
or 192cm 112kg frontrower kurt cawdron who has been noticed by the warriors but as yet is still unsigned after some barnstorming games.

I know Marshall is our boom youngster, but i would like to see (and should for the rest of this year) Kerr at half and Prince @ 5/8. Prince, as has been said many times, a better 5/8 than half. Also, for next year, does anyone recall Elford playing a bit of lock for the Panthers? If we can get some big angry boys, it hink Elford would be a good lock behind them.

he is the right size for a lock. don't know if his defensive work ethic is up to scratch however.

He will be ok so long as no one passes a ball to him  Poor Elford he needs a big game this week me thinks.

Where did you get this information? The two props sound interesting, particularly the second one. While on the subject of kiwi players, there has been rumours circulating that ex all-black Jerry Collins is keen on coming to Rugby League sooner than later.Apparently he played league all through his juniors and still much prefers the game.I know that logically the Warriors would probably be his choice, but if you haven`t seen him play, this bloke is awesome. He would certainly become leagues biggest hitter bar none and is also a powerful runner of the ball.Whilst we`re trying to recruit players to put some mongrel into the pack,I reckon this bloke is worth putting a fairly substantial offer to!

from following the bartercard cup, plus a friend that i talk to in auckland.

johnson is a tall rangy centre who was culled from the warriors development squad, but this year he has been in fine form, and will be snapped up before the season is over.
kurt cawdron played with johnson last night in the auckland v nsw country game, which country won i might add.he has played all 9 games for the comp leaders and is the leader of go forward for marist.
and as for whare, for such a big man he does have a good workrate as well as good go forward.

max, tell your friend to go after these 3 if we are short of grunt up forward, which we probably will.hopefully we had scouts in nzl looking at last nights games.

Jerry Collins is from Wellington and plays in our local Club Competition (Rugby Union).

Jerry would be worth every cent he was offered.

As to Jerry being an ex-All Black!!! No, Jerry is a current All Black. Played last Saturday against the Pumas.

Knocked the crap out of an Argie who literally went down screaming.

When Jerry hits, you stay hit. Very much like a dark David Gillespie, only bigger.

Jerry has tinkered with League. In my opinion, Jerry would be a world champion, at marbles.

Let’s get him.

I wouldn't be ruling Senter out just yet. I've read quite a few articles this year about him considering playing next season.

I think Tim should nip those play next year ideas in the bud,we don't need Senter next year.
