Toss up between him and Pomeroy really... Although I hope he bulks up and becomes a full-time front rower (e.g. like Steve Price did)...

I haven't seen Brown play but from the sounds of it, he appears to be a much better option that Simmons. Simmons is pretty good under the high ball, but that's about it, defensively he worries me, his positional play is not the best (but I'll concede that it's getting better) and he doesn't do a hell of a lot in attack. I hope that the powers that be are taking note.

Latu's a Warrior.Plays hooker.
Hasnt had a lot of games for them over the last couple of years.
He can be a bit like Sulli with both his attack and defence.(big forwards pick him out).
I dont think he's as good as Sulli but he can match him in the brain explosion stakes.
Pomeroy is an outstanding junior Panther.(18 or 19?)
He's played a bit of first grade mainly off the bench to the centres and second row.
Makes lots of metres and is a real goer.Can off load as well.
Makes an impact and he looks the goods.
This guy is a gun buy.
Been injured the last month or so.
Dont know how bad it is but lets hope its minor.

On Aitken, I believe we should beef him up and bring him into firsts the way Wests did with Marshall. Prepare him as a centre and bring him in to replace Dykes in 2008. Hilder would be awesome on the left side working with Aitken to put McGoldrick or Albert away.

As much as we would like Simmons to get the fugg out of fullback, realistically there is no way Raper will take him out of there unless Simmons is injured. We should, however, remember Simmons form at fullback when he was playing in premier league. I think he's potentially a very good fullback...even more so when he starts gaining some confidence and learns to work with his team. He will be our fullback, so we might as well try to find some positives out of that.
