Wathching on TV, it is extremely difficult to work out wear the most of the 7000 or so people would sit to bring the ground to its full capacity. Does that figure not count freebies or something?

I'd call it an accurate crowd figure.

when Melb Victory played at OP they got around 16-17k from memory, all seats were taken and the 'blue and white brigade' were crammed into the terraces behind the goals...the terraces are a quite well occupied at storm games but no where near as crammed in as they are at the Victory games

In fairness the grandstand wasn't that empty, and the two ends were packed with kids with the 'kids get in free' promotion.

It certainly looked a lot bigger than their crowd against the Rabbitohs.

And that's going to be a real worry for the 2008 version of this thread. The Kenniggetts are usually around 20K average. Next year, post-Joey and with the damage Brian Smith has done to the club, they'll be lucky to average 15K.
