I often need to alter figures obtained on game day to match what Thursday's Big League says. That's not to say that I don't stuff that up though :p
Don't take it as a criticism guys. Given the number of contradictory figures we see reported for attendances, a difference of only 115 over 24 rounds is amazing. In any case, I erred on the side of worst case figures in my quick calculation of what we need to draw in the final round to achieve those two marks.

the Southern end tonight was empty as. I remember Bulldogs v Dragons last year with 31k there. The stadium was pretty packed all the way around...definately more at that game than tonight by the look of it.

It was a good crowd tonight in any sense. To draw 25k + when one team has no chance to make the 8 is outstanding. Too bad most of them were gone when the game got fiery.

Home attendance is for a clubs 12 home games irrespective of wheere they are played. Timmah is right on this. Some stat sites like stats.Rleague really frustrate me on this. There are NO neitral games in Home and Away simply different home game venues.

As f**king if there was 32k at Telstra last night. Fudged figure if ever I saw one.

Good on Souths for getting "that many people" but judging by the camera angles I saw that figure is truly inflated.

Either way we now only need around 25k from the last three games to crack the 3m barrier

Hey Timmah there were 32,000 there...Level 4 was pretty full and the only place really empty was on one end of the field behind the posts.

...an area which was heavily littered with fans when we played Parramatta 4 weeks back. Having seen both games' crowds I can't buy there was such a difference there. One of two scenarios explains this - either Souths inflate crowd figures, or the 'Dogs missed a whole gate or two when calculating their crowd.

My assumption is solely based on the comparison of the Dogs v Parra game.
