ok and get rid of the 7k crowds when it was pissing down as well then..

oh wait, by doing that its no longer a representative sample...
Representative Sample?

"I'll throw in some jargon and pretend I know about statistics"

If we get rid of outliers, it actually gives a much more accurate representative sample, lol.

Btw, only one game was significantly lower than 10k, (5k vs Penrith)

I'm trying to explain why Souths finished with a higher average than Manly and Parra, it's not supposed to discredit anyone.

Why question a teams average? Wouldn't it be nice to once just bask in the glory that not one single team managed at Home Crowd Average below 10k?

Where's the fun in that?

How does one bask on the interwebs?

I'd be happy if all NRL teams could get better than Parra in crowd average if Eels keep improving, i just want NRL averages to go up.

28,745 in Auckland. Only Brisbane have provided a bigger first week crowd under the current system.

That warriors crowd was absolutely fantastic. Amazing atmosphere. Definately the best I have seen in my (relatively) short life for a first week crowd.

The all black wearing crowd just added another dimension to the Auckland crowd, especially in their tall grandstands. It would of been great to have been there.

Hopefully the Warriors can get most of those fans to return next year...

I had the sports ears in my left ear and turned way up so i could hear it.

Yet today i'm struggling to hear with my right ear.

Amazing volume.

19,785 at Brookvale.... and I doubt you could fit another 15 let alone 215 in there....

So for the Final Series so far we have: 72,534

Past Final Series:
2006 - 104,457
2005 - 90,974
2004 - 89,759

So not bad consider we didn't have Suncorp in this first Round (Something we had in 06 and 04)

Get rid of the two 30+ crowds and your average is down to 12k. I'm not saying it shouldn't be considered but these are two pretty heavy outliers. You also had two successful games at Gosford.

...Or get rid of the Panthers game where it was the worst weather in Sydney in 50 years and the average is 16,700. Works both ways.

Hey Timmah, thanks for your efforts throughout the season with the crowd attendances and such. It's extremely handy and helpful. Good stuff mate. ;-)
