Updating some of the Balmain boys; Moa, Chase, Howell and Saffy are all signed until the end of 2007

Lawrence is also signed until the end of 2009 but on a wests tigers contract so its hard to know which PL team he will be with next year (or even if he'll be in PL at all)

honestly I'm not sure - I'm pretty certain Rangi and Moa at least were on Balmain contracts but since the upgrade its probably wt - Saffy would most likely be a WT contract seeing as he started with the magpies.

Howell I really don't know.

Stupid as it sounds I think it'll be more of a loss for the WT than for Balmain.

Balmain are more than covered for outside backs especially with the flegg guys due to graduate to PL (pretty sure Bunce and Wara at least will be over the age limit next year and I'm half expecting Matty Ryan to do what Eshy did this year and bypass flegg for PL), none of them are likely to be ready provide an easy back-up for first grade like Crockett did though even though I think they'd all do the job in PL.

With that being said, there'll be a lot more good youngsters from Norths trialling for Manly in the next couple of weeks if i have any input. Cheers
