Sadly, you may be right.

The team gave it their all yesterday. In the sheds after the match, it was clear that there was nothing left in the tank. I'm very proud of them as we all should be.

Newtown coaching staff attention please!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the Grand Final, can we please have the BEST POSSIBLE team selected. #1 has to be Foley, Thompsons attempt at a cover tackle yesterday was disgracefull, he only has speed for the first 5 meters,as was the dropped ball that would have been a try. This is the GRAND FINAL, we need FOLEY at fullback, NSW selectors know hes the best fullback in NSW Cup, he has fisrt grade experience, he has that extra spark that Thompson doesnt have, PLEASE I dont want to loose a grand final again.

Donny Thompson dropped the friggin ball 3 friggin times, Foley was running in on tthe early tackles doing most of the work, how anyone could choose Thompson over Foley for a GF is beyond me. Coaching staff you really let me down, COACHES watch the game again, NEVER PLAY SPECIALIST FULLBACKS OUT OF POSITION, very disappointed.

Thompson has been in pretty reasonable form in recent times and deserved to be in the side.

Foley being chosen in the wing was not what cost us the match. Our biggest loss was Benny Jones.

its taken me three days, but I am here to say that really sucked. To be honest I never had the feeling we were going to win the game when they got it back to 8-8

in all honesty, we were doing our best to keep you guys in the game for as long as possible and if you guys had ended up winning it it would of been because we lost it, but than again that would of been seen as sour grapes at our part.

I agree that losing Ben Jones before the game cooked us.

Against Wests we looked real good with both Rudder and Jones on the field, giving us attacking options on both sides of the ruck.

Without Jones there was just TOO MUCH for Rudder to do!
