Thurston out for 3-4 weeks
North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Captain Johnathan Thurston has been ruled out for between 3 to 4 weeks with a knee injury.

Late this afternoon the club received the results of scans to the right knee that was injured against the Warriors last Saturday in Auckland and is was found that Thurston had a tear in the lateral meniscus.

This injury will require surgery which is taking place tomorrow.

Toyota Cowboys Coach Ian Millward will name a replacement later in the week.
