Does anyone know which Parramatta players are in the Western sydney Academy squad for SG Ball and Harold Matthews?

Rambo is a good addition to this forum...Onya matie.....

Thank you Parra Pete

Parramatta supporters should note the draw. Parra play 10 games, five away. The first 3 games are at home (Cabra) and it might be the best time for supporters to see the teams in action, especially before the NRL starts

16 Feb v St George
23 Feb v Balmain
1 March v South West Sydney Academy

Hey guys,

Does anyone have any idea of the scores in the HM and SG Ball trials played at Brookie today?

Manly called off the trials due to the weather. Unfortunately, they only informed the Eels management at the eleventh hour which meant that most of the Parra squad had already made their way to Brookie. The Para boys are really looking forward to the round 9 clash on 12 April at Cabra!

Thats very dissapointing to hear. Would have been good for Manly to have another hit off before the comp begins, especially seeing as they have the Bye Round 1. A patchy hit out against Norths then two weeks off leading into the competition, hmm....... :?

Anyway, best of luck for the season.

The bye in rd 1 won't help Manly, especially as they have Newcastle in rd 2. But I think they will be competitive during the season.

hey rambo, you're obviously pretty close to the SG Ball camp, what's our side look like this year with the amount of changes from last years squad. do you still think we're competative?

btw, looking forward to next saturday at Cabra..

I have more of an interest in the HM but I have watched SGB after the HM finishes. My observations of SGB after watching them in 2 trials is that they are not as strong as last year when they won the competition. They got smashed 11 trys to 2 against Newcastle and just won over Illawarra.

I was looking forward to them playing against Manly with their completed squad after final cuts were made. I think with their final squad in operation they will, of course, be much better. Oh, and one other observation....Nathan Gardner will kill em this year!

I was actually told that the team that took the field against Newcastle were either fringe players and trialists...hard to guage.

Hey stagger, any news on Vandermade, McGaughey etc?

I stand to be corrected but I think they are at the Academy. BTW the two sgb trials included fringe and probables.
