The Huddersfield go forward was absolutely crap.. playing too flat, too lateral...

i have no idea how they even won the previous games to get to the CC final...(didn't watch their previous CC games) although they did look dangerous when Hodgson was injected into the attack

I could never see the Giants winning that one, Warrington were always dominant

Having said that, Warrington was led very well by Morley i thought, Briers and Monoghan had good games.. well done

Huddersfield were always going to be up against it in the halfbacks, Briers is a genious with the ball in hand and is too seasoned for the likes of Brown and Robinson.

Robinson had a terrible game, he was at faultin defence for at least 2 of the Warrington tries and offered nothing in attack. He knocked on more times than I care to remember andcto think that some were touting him for England.

To be fair to Brown he picked up an injury fairly early and never had a chance to influence the game.

Huddersfield have built their season on good defence which went missing in the first quarter where the game was lost. They've also worked off a dominant pack who've bullied the opposition but they were never going to enjoy that advantage with Carvell, Morley, Westwood, the Andersons and Ben Harrison on the pitch for Wire.

What an entertaining game of Rugby League and the crowd were very vocal which always helps.

Very pleased that the Wolves won. Huddersfield were very unlucky with an early no try - should have been awarded, but they got one back just before they scored a try when there were two men in the tackle and they stripped, so that evened up.

Mnaghan had a good game and young whippet face going off with a busted knee near half time killed the Giants come back. That was very hard on them.

But 35 years and the Warrington team finally have a trophy. Good on yer lads.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just finished partying. Awesome day.

I thought we defended really well in that first half, when we got battered by them, couldn't believe we were winning.

Second half (looking back, at the time it was agony) was comfortable for us. We beat them at there own game, very solid all round, especially the forwards (hehe see ya Crabtree), and controlled the ball.

Ganson was Ganson but i thought all the ruled out tries were correct. It was obstruction and it was a double movement. For there second try there were two in the tackle on Carvs but again Ganson fails to see that. Stupid bloody scouser.

Oh and i said it after the semi and i'll say it again. Hicks is the greatest winger since Bevan. :D
