The 2009 draft is scheduled for April 13, just 8 days after Wrestlemania.

Pretty early this year. So here's my prediction

AT NO WAY OUT:
HHH wins the elimination chamber, and goes into Wrestlemania as champion
Cena retains his title in the other chamber
Orton punts Shane in the head

LEAD UP TO MANIA:
Orton tells Steph that he is going to get her husband, since he's got her father and her brother
Y2J is the number 1 contender for Cena

AT MANIA:
Y2J defeats Cena
Orton defeats HHH

AT THE DRAFT:
Y2J to Smackdown

I think they're setting us up for Orton vs HHH at mania, and Orton will most probably win his match, meaning Raw will have 2 champions and Smackdown none, and with the draft so soon after Mania, they'll probably use that to send a champ across to SD, I can't see it being Cena, but I can see them sending Jericho across.

true, I think it also will mean Christian won't spend very long on ECW, he'll probably head to Raw and fued with Punk.

I can see them doing the intercontinental/US heavyweight switch or did they do that last time? Suppose it depends on who is holding the titles, although I could see a Punk V Matt Hardy feud as a potential winner for both guys (assuming Jeff is out of the picture by then).

I can see Kozlov being moved to Raw for some reason.

The WWE always likes to spring some big surprises with the draft so I'm expecting a few surprise moves.

Kennedy shouldn't be moved, he's gone back and forth so often I don't think he even knows what show he's on.

Christian needs to be on Raw. He had a totally underwhelming comeback. If booked properly could be the biggest face of the company.

They should send him there for a year, if he can go the 12 months without getting injured again then they can send him back to SD or Raw.
