Argentina should have this, but I wouldn't discount Nigeria in this match.

Argies were tearing it up early, but it's evened out a little bit. But I can still see this turning into a big win for Argentina.

I've always wanted to know how big a factor stuff like altitude actually plays on the ball.

I don't mind the vuvuzela's in themselves. What frustrates me about them is that they drown out crowd cheering/chanting

I'm not sure how much of this world cup I'll be able to take. Those horns just give me a headache.
haha, last night I thought it was me going crazy from lack of sleep and that it was a strange noise my head was making, so I asked my brother if he heard it, which just led me to think there was something wrong with the tv. They make for great atmosphere and I really love that WC is in Africa etc, but they make me feel like I'm going to go deaf

Yeah, honestly, don't these guys get bored of blowing them? I wonder what they actually sound like in the stadium? It's awful on the television anyway... when the South Africans watch the games on tv and hear how the sound comes across is it like sweet music to them or something? I can't believe they can persist with this racket.

I have so much love and respect for Africa and African culture, including their music, particularly love the drumming...

but these horns sound like wasps/bees to me

Fulltime Argentina 1-0. They'll be pretty happy with that, should of put a few more past them though.

BTW, how much does Maradona love Messi haha

I'm actually not so sure Argentina should feel that comfortable with this victory.

Yeah, they could have scored 4-5 goals tonight, but they could very well have conceded the same number. Nigeria has ALOT of chances and half chances that they did nothing with, and if Argentina were to play like that in the round of 16 they would lose IMO.

Still, opening game I suppose so they have a couple more tries to get the defence right.
