I have yet to be impressed by the Netherlands, they have done enough to progress, and Robben is looking good, but they're gonna have to lift to challenge Brazil, who as always are starting to peak just at the right time, their 2 centre backs look pretty solid too.

Thoughts....

Brazil are deserved favourites but I think the Dutch can pull off a surprise. Robben wasn't fit or firing at the start of the tournament but now he is and they are difficult to break down. Up the Oranje!

If Holland want to go on and win this game they need to do what I do on PES 9 and bring on Van Der Vaart and Elia for Van Bommel and Kuyt.

We really are way to conservative and a part of me wont be disappointed if we lose the game as this style of play isnt the Dutch way

Boy how much has this game changed since that Cesar howler. Brazil were easily the better team before that. It's falling apart for them now.

All I can say is wow so far. The Dutch are all over Brazil at the moment. 2-1 with 10 minutes remaining.

I will be incredibly happy to see the Dutch go through. I mean seriously Brazil have won 5 world cups and id much rather see Ghana, Netherlands, Paraguay or Spain win it for the first time.

Having said that I think only Netherlands and Spain have the teams to win this out of those four so for that reason im jumping on the Spain and Netherlands bandwagons.

I love watching Robben play but some of his play-acting tonight has been embarrassing.

5 mins left for the Dutch to hold on

If Brazil go out at this stage for the second world cup in a row, Brazilians back at home will be slitting their wrists.

Haha that Danny Alves free kick reminded me so much of Ronaldinho's free kick in the dying minutes of their 2006 WC QF loss to France.

Wow, can't believe Brazil is gone.

They were all over the Dutch in the first half, they could've been up by a few. However credit to the Dutch, they fought and fought and gradually scratched their way back into the game. Once they got the equaliser Brazil completely lost their composure, they panicked and fell apart. Once they fell behind, Kaka disappeared and Robinho went back to his selfish ways, although I agree Robben's playacting was horrible to watch...

Brazilians are gone!!! This opens up the draw even more now. Its their for the taking for any team that wants it now.

You could definately see that this Brazil team doesnt lose often. When they conceded the first goal they panicked and didnt know what to do. Their discipline went down the drain and it was all down hill after that.

......:sarcasm:

Arjen Robben took a sh*t load of punishment for the team but what a performance. Really should have killed it off at the end though, and f**k that pitch was attrocious, Dutch had problems with it against Slovakia, glad we dont have to see it again.

Don't watch much soccer but that 1st half was easily the best I've seen from both sides, especially Brazil.

Uh, he also performed a few marvelous aerial dives with minimal contact, his play acting at times was downright embarrassing...
