Darren Lockyer JUST beat Parker by 3 points. Considering 24 points were given each game it was very close.

Wallace was in third, but it was pretty distant if I heard properly.

I think LUs votes are more accurate tbh.

Lockyer was great, but Parker was excellent.

The LU awards and Broncos awards have only matched up twice, 2005 and 2007, every other time it's been someone different.

Parker was my pick but I can live with Locky. Dude is a legend and it's a fitting way to go out. Parker may have missed out, but personally, I didn't he deserved it in 2009 so I can deal with this.
