I think overall this is one of the weaker drafts in recent history

Not a good year to be drafting a QB IMO, 49ers too need one, all the top guys have serious question marks

If you need Defense this is a great draft.

If you need a top WR this is an ok draft.

If you need O-Line its a massive sleeper draft imo

If you need a QB...I think 1-2 will turn out good...but a lot of back ups in this draft.

Not a good year to be needing a QB, the lack of QB deep might allow some extra value for blokes like Orton and Kolb.

I'll wait before combine before seriously thinking about a mock but im keen
I dont have a afarking clue where the panthers go with #1. Aj Greene is probably my pick at this point, give the lack of QB's

Nick Fairley will likely be #1.

but I'm hoping he drops to #3 to Buffalo.

I think Carolina will go AJ Green IMO. They need a WR...their defense wasn't terrible, it was their offense which was absolutely terrible.

Clausen needs someone to throw too and Steve Smith may be on the way out.

i think he's a good chance to go to Buffalo. If Champ leaves the broncos they could take Peterson #2, and with Aj going #1 (which is what im mocking at this point) i think Fairley is there for the Bills to finally stop the blood letting in the run game

dunno what the chargers need. more discipline and a better coach. perhaps more depth at WR and Tight end given gates always injured.

Chargers should go after like a Julio Jones (WR), Von Miller (OLB) or Michael Floyd (WR) or Leonard Hankerson (WR) in the second round

That is the start of my mock as well.

I think whether champ stays or does go they'll go Peterson #2...the kid is a stud at CB.

I think Denver definitely take Peterson. Why wouldn't they. The dude is the best CB since Revis. He's a freak and great on Special Teams as well.

Fairley doesn't fill a total need for them. With Dumervil coming back that'll make their front 7 a lot better....but No champ bailey and they are screwed.

yea denever have a massive need at CB.... as good as bailey is, he just not what he used to be so basically drafting a player and not having to worry about that side of the field is great

No Champ and Perish Cox could wind up in jail... i dont think for one second that Broncos will pass on Peterson

unless something goes horribly wrong between now and then with Peterson or the Broncos end up picking up someone like Aso on FA

I think Fairley and Green are by far the 2 top prospects in this draft, if that's the case you have to take the DT #1, more important position, pretty hard to justify taking a WR at #1 IMO. Rivera has already stated that Carolina will stay in a 4-3, that tells me that Fairley will be the guy.

I think Peterson is slightly overrated actually, watched him in the bowl game and he plays way off and isn't as physical as you would like, Fuller caught plenty of passes in front of him. I think he will be a safety in the pros (ala Malcolm Jenkins). He's no Revis.

How about we do a 3 round mock where we each take a team?

I'll take the 49ers, happy to take 2 teams if required.

that's just totally wrong, denver's Dline is close to the worst in the league, & while there's no doubt PP is a tremendous talent broncos will go fairley if here's there.

no good having a stud CB if every qb has an eternity to throw it doesnt help as denver with champ has shown they get torched almost every game
