She'll be right, Smith and Costigan will be a big loss though, but all the young forwards (Merrin, Prior) will be better next year, Bennett never fails to deliver especially in the forwards, that move to put Costigan in the front row was a master stroke.

Nev... what a champ. Bennett cut him at the Broncs then gave him a 2nd chance and he was amazing. Will miss him enormously, i wish him all the best at Newy and hope he goes from strength to strength.

For all of our losses im still really excited about next year, i think we will see a truly confident team playing without pressure. It may well be Bennett's last season with us so lets make the most of it and enjoy every minute

I think the loss of Smith , Costigan and Saffy in a single year might be a hole too big even for Wayne . But I'd love to be wrong .

Smith was let go because he played bugger all football for us. He is very injury prone now and i think we got we needed out of him. He was released because he tackles too much money and playes too liitle football. This is quickly forgotten. Costigan is a MASSSIVE loss because of his intimidation and aggression. But we can cover smith and saffy.

We were just a little unlucky with Smith - injuries happen. When fit he is one of the best locks in the competition, if not the best. He showed this throughout the finals series, in my opinion. Having watched the grandfinal replay a few times I think he was very unlucky not to get the Churchill medal. He came good for us in the end, and we have probably released him at the right stage of his career. He will still be hard to replace though.

Fien to starting hooker, Young to lock (I suppose), Hunt to starting prop, but with no Costigan and Saffy on the bench we are lacking the same forward depth that we enjoyed this season. With some injury luck we threaten again, without it we will still threaten but will not be as dominant.
