it actually couldn't be much worse. a really tough home game followed by three away games. you'd have to think the titans and roosters will be interesting tests of where we're at - but we could realistically be 0 from 4, then have to come back Canberra for 2 finalists in the cows and warriors. and then broncos away into the break. that's a horrendous first 7 weeks.

that's without even mentioning the nightmare road trip in round 26.

it's also crap personally. none of this is conducive to interstate trips for me

Could set a new club record... 9 losses in a row.

Apparently the club asked not to play at home 2 of the weeks as it clashed with some events in Canberra.

there's some optimistic people around these parts.

Titans and Roosters are very winnable , we wouldnt need to be at our best and we could still win these. Titans still lack a 5/8.

Melbourne is also winnable but we will need to be on our game.

Tigers if we dont just watch Benji we are a chance. It baffles me everytime this team beats us. Benji runs riot , we refuse to tackle him.

On 2011 form we wont beat anyone but I dont think we could play that bad over a season again.

The thing I want different is a good start to the year , fitness to be up on previous years

I always tip and bet the raider but storm, titans and tigers, there some tight games.

Yes the Titan don't have a 5/8.. We don't either.

To beat the storm will take a big game, just not sire we will be at thy platform in game one. Hope we do, raiders 1-12 always pays big lol.

Our attitude sucked this year , they believed their own hype and winning the 1st game compounded that belief. I cant see us going in with that attitude in 2012. 2011 was a massive kicked in the arse to our players.

That is an absolute abortion of a draw for us.

Nothing like being utterly demolished in Round 1 to set the tone for a season.

Why couldn't we just once get the Saints in Rd. 1????

every team is beatable.

difference between them and canberra is that after a poor season they both made significant changes. The titans signed about 10 players, the roosters punted their bad influences in carney, myles etc. Whereas canberra swept the season under the rug, blamed it on injuries, signed a 32-year old centre, and pretended to show a willingness to improve with that sham of a "high performance review".

Why do we play dragons only once in the 2011 draw and again in this draw. theres an easy 2 points down the drain for us:x

Last time we played Manly twice in a season was 2007... Same with Parramatta.

2008 was the last time we played South Sydney twice.

And we won't be playing any of those teams twice this year either.

It's a pretty rough draw but on the bright-side we have more home games at the business end of the season. Hopefully we can come out of the opening 4 with at least 2 wins.

I'll be very happy with 2-2 in the first month

it doesn't matter who we drew , there are no gimmes in the NRL these days

But I think we can notch up at least 2 in the first month
I think its a good thing to get the Storm at home in Rnd 1 ... thats going to be our best shot at getting them outside of them being without their trio for Origin .. before they start to build.

I think the Titans & Roosters will be tough , but doable
the Tigers will be bloody hard

I'm predicting 2-2 going into rnd 5

apparently the dragons put a request to the NRL to only play the Raiders once...and if possible.. to avoid them completely.
