2012 - WARL Harvey Norman Premiership

Nice write up.

I am a keen follower of the WARL. But I can't see the Roosters beating North Beach, Beach by 16.

Everything else is quite accurate though with goldfields to put at least 30+ on the Giants and Lions to put 20+ on the Dogs. The Bears are just woeful! Enough said!

Depends whose playing for freo. I heard they had a few players dropped back to ressies last week for missing training but I agree North Beach have a very slick side on paper this year and have heard big things about there new back rower Fred Pakatoa.

South Perth
North Beach
Rockingham
Joondalup (just!)

P.s good to see a few new posters on the forum! Welcome aboard.

Are the 'rep players' from Perth vs Kiwis allowed to 'back-up' and play for there clubs this weekend ? or is it like the NRL and the rep players are only allowed to watch and not participate in any action for there clubs this weekend ?

Don't we have a Competition on our hands now.

Isn't it good to see some other teams at the top of the ladder. Although Rockingham hasn't played any 'Strong Contenders' as yet but Kalamunda is looking the good thus far.

With South Perth Vs North Beach next weekend it would of been a long time ago that one of these teams have started off the season with 1 win in 3 games.

Season 2012 is looking exciting!

Good work on the tips too Goldthorpe! :)

Why don't Willagee just pull out of premier grade and concentrate on just 1st grade? There reserves have won both of there opening games so there must be some good players to call on. I dare say that maybe some of the premier grade is backing up for first grade. Who in there right mind wants to get "flogged" by over 100 points each week. Very frustrating.

You've got to field both sides to compete in either comp. With exceptions made for the regional sides (kal and south west).

Perhaps they've stacked there ressies side and are hopin for a premiership there and plan on building on that in 2013?

They don't have programs at the games anymore and the warl don't list em in the newsletter for some reason. What teams did you coach I might be able to list some names of guys that are still running around.
