Better they clear it up now and he only misses a couple of games, rather than it getting worse and missing half the season.

Yeah I strongly agree with this. The last thing we need is the same forward pack crisis that we had at the start of last year. The first games are against Newcastle and Penrith who are not the strongest side in the comp. We all know Woods is solid and this will give a good chance for Buchanan or Bell to have a decent crack for the first couple of rounds

Woods, groat, gavet, Murdoch-Masila, sironen all out injured

Ayshford, Lawrence, Anasta and Moltzen all went off injured tonight

I thought we'd have a bit of luck this year after the distastorous injuries last year, this is getting beyond a joke.

Molten had a stomach bug.

I have faith in Bell getting the job done, has done well whenever given the opportunity and will try his guts out as he is in the later years of his career and he has to make it count.

Buchanan is just a baby and will take time to get accustomed to the rigours of FG. However I would prefer him get exposure early on in the piece since already meagre front row stocks have been depleted with Gavet and Groat already looking at long stays in the recovery ward.

Add Koro to the indefinite tag.

I wonder if our club doctor got his qualifications at the same TAFE Skando did.

Cant believe the run the Tigers have had with injuries over the last few years, and things dont appear to be getting any better so far this year...

Is it just bad luck?

It can't be, we continually have the most players injured of any nrl side. In the last 4 years I would confidently say we've never once played with our first 17 fully fit. Players are constantly reinjuring the same body part and have longer then expected lay offs, or come back early and play like busteds.

Everyone is always out 'indefinietly' it just reeks of amateurism.

I dunno if you could say we are the worst hit. Rabbitohs and Penrith had a shocking run with injuries. but we are still up there.

As for Koro, it was just a sprain. He was in doubt for this week but they decided to not aggravate it. He will be back by next week. Week after worst case
