2013 NRL Premier's Collectors Edition DVD Boxed Set

As I prognosticated, 4 December 2013 will see the release of a Premier's Collector's edition dvd boxed set. Whilst it's contents are scant on the website I found it listed, Ezy DVD's, if you go by what was in the 2012 set then this year's set should include:

- DVD of the Grand Final;
- DVD of the Preliminary Final v Newcastle;
- DVD of the Qualifying Final v Manly;
- DVD of the season highlights.

If you already have the Grand Final DVD, they are releasing a standalone DVD of the 2013 Premier's Season Highlights.

Oh, yes I forgot that EVERYONE has Foxtel :crazy: I saw their telecast of the Grand Final (and by the way I was wrong, I thought they took 9's feed), great work they had, especially the front on shot of SKD taking Mini's pass to score where all you could see of SKD was from waist down :lol: Being called a moron by you? :lol:

It doesn't matter if everyone has fox or not you were wrong lol

And the channel 9 coverage was better?? I recorded it live and watched it for the first time after watching it 3 times from fox at the club and all Gus and Warren did was talk shit.

If you had a PVR you can go back and watch games not on the DVD without having to pay $30 a pop or whatever it is on that site. That was the point not who had better coverage or whatever

You were the one who kept bringing up the coverage, not I. You were the one calling people names, not I. Fact is not everyone has a PVR (for the record, I do and it's a Blu-Ray PVR for that matter).

As to the coverage, I was talking about the picture, not the commentary. If I wanted good commentary I'd go and re-listen to HG and Roy's call of the game thanks. Most people watch a telecast for the pictures broadcast, and if you want to say Fox Sports telecast had better coverage in terms of vision (and not just that it was HD instead of SD) I would disagree with you on that point, hence my comment regarding SKD.

Whilst I have Foxtel, not everyone here does. Additionally what I listed was a boxed set with 3 games and a further DVD that you won't get on Foxtel. You don't want it, fine. No probs.

But if you've got nothing better to say than naff on about stuff unrelated then just go away. You're wasting your time and mine.

Why do oppositions fans think we pay our players with brown paper bags?

Surely they all realise Uncle Nick leaves the cash in the glovebox of the new car these days. No need for brown paper bags anymore!

Well I got around to buying the set today from JB Hi Fi, and for less than $57, it is good value. It is a multi-DVD set and includes on it:

2013 NRL Grand Final
2013 Premier's Season Review
Round 3 v Broncos
Round 6 v Bulldogs
Round 7 v Dragons
Round 26 v Souths
Qualifying Final v Manly
Preliminary Final v Newcastle.

So if you don't already have the games you may want to buy it.

p.s.

Tonearm, I'm only mentioning this for those people who might be interested. Let's not get into an argument about HD again. Ok? I admit I wish it was made available for sale, but alas it isn't.

Yeah picked it up from JB yesterday for $45 as well.

I already had the games on the IQ box but that's hardly going to be there forever. Watched everything bar the dogs 38-0 again yesterday as well.

I'm gonna get it too.
I know what you're saying Tonearm but I think it will make a great keepsake.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for packaging.

Picked up a copy last week.

The Season review is really good and the Finals, Souths and ANZAC Day games are pretty good but the Bulldogs game just doesn't have the spark, and the Broncos game is a waste of disc space. At least they're on the same disc.

Haven't watched the whole Season Review yet, but disappointed to see it doesn't briefly re-cap every round (ala its 2002 counter-part), instead skipping some & showing others.

Oh well, will watch the rest tomorrow.
