Wests would have to be the favourite with quite a few players backing up from last year's Grand final win and players stepping up from Balmain's SG Ball win, plus a few from Keebra Park and Western Suburbs.

Possible team:

2 Kurtis Rowe (fullback) Keebra Pk ... NYC 2012
3 Bradley Soe (centre) Keebra Pk ... NYC 2012
4 Paul Simona (centre, wing) Balmain
5 David Nofoaluma (wing, centre, fullback) Wests ... NYC 2012
6 Matt Mulcahy (half, five eight) Mullumbimby ... NYC 2012
7 Luke Brooks (half) Balmain*
8 Nathan Brown (prop) Balmain ... NYC 2012
9 Manaia Cherrington (hooker) Balmain
10 Jarrod Szczudlo (prop) Wests ... NYC 2012
11 Kyle Lovett (back row) Balmain ... NYC 2012
12 Shane Lalogafau (back row) Wests ... NYC 2012
13 Brendan Santi (back row) Bulldogs ... NYC 2012

14 Richard Ene (prop) Keebra Pk

Cronulla have a lot of players who had a taste of and have added Dane O'Heir and Jake Goodwin from Country NSW Under-18s, Alan Niulesa and Winstone Asotasi from Canterbury, and Balmain's grand final winning SG Ball halfback Alex Zarounas.

Not sure that they'll have enough to improve their position from 2012 and should just miss the finals.

Possible team:

1 Nesiasi Mataitonga
2 Josh Lambert
3 Rea Pitman
4 Alan Niulesa
5 Finlay Dibley
6 Jake Walsh
7 Alex Zarounas
8 Tokerau Raru
9 Michael Lichaa
10 Kurt Dillan
11 Sione Masima
12 Jackson Cartwright
13 Michael Morris

14 Jake Goodwin
15 Patrice Siolo
16 Reece Davidson
17 Taylar Garrett

Andrew vela will be starting in the second row, warren McDonnell said that he would have played first grade in 2012 if he didn't do his shoulder in round 4. Pretty sure Sa Fifita will be in the pack too.

Rudolph will have to do something pretty special in the trials/per season to keep Rowe out of the 1, he was brilliant in the finals. Payton may want to keep Moses/brooks together, meaning Mulcahy could be moved out wider.

Keep in mind Tedesco and sironen are still young enough to play. I know the raiders 08 and warriors 10/11 were pretty amazing, but this tigers side could be the best the NYC has seen.

I also hear that there will be 4-5 NYC players in the State Cup team, from Balmain SG Ball Brooks, Moses, Rakvin, Farrell, Cherrington and Leva Li should all be in the mix of the top 17.

Some of the talent will have to spill into the state cup. Also wests sg ball halfback Billy Kitt is predicted for big things. There's 5 quality halves that would walk into most other NYC sides ffs

Melbourne will go well, Unfortunately the Tigers will go backwards on the back on their under performing forwards and the Rabbits feel they did enough last season and will also fall in 2013.[ IMO Reynolds to suffer 2nd year syndrome, another Cherry Evans]
