I'm shocked by Uniteds summer. They have picked up Herrera and a fat unfit Shaw who is out for a month. After losing Vidic and Ferdinand and Evra among others....

Should be a good season. Can't see Liverpool winning, I think top four is very achievable though. No point going outragous in predictions when there are, depending on a lot of little things going right or wrong, 7 clubs who could make the top 4.

Think Chelsea will probably win the league, following some decent transfer work, although it wouldn't shock me if Costa flopped. City and Chelsea should be top two. Arsenal and us the next two.

Costa has reportedly been very good in pre-season. I haven't been able to see any friendlies as I've been quite busy.

Predictions

1. Chelsea
2. Manchester City
3. Arsenal
4. Manchester United
5. Liverpool
6. Everton
7. Spurs

Iago Aspas scored 6 goals in 4 pre season games last season. Means Nothing over the course of the season.
I am not saying he will be a flop though, I actually think he will net about 15 goals.

1) City
2) Chelsea
3) Arsenal
4) Liverpool
5) Spurs
6) United
7) Everton

1-Chelsea
2-Arsenal
3- City
4- Liverpool
5- United
6-Everton
7- Spurs

I think it could prove to be one of the closest seasons ever. I do think if Arsenal can stay relatively injury free they are a serious serious shot at the title. Chelsea on paper will be very hard to beat but there is a stack of pressure on Costa to perform, scoring goals cost them the title last season if Costa flops or gets injured then there's nothing to say they won't struggle again.

He's subconsciously (or maybe consciously) trolling me.

The season starts tomorrow. That back 4 looks awfully frail. And I still think they're short of midfield quality.

It doesn't matter if it starts tomorrow. The window closes in 2 weeks. The opening day result will not have much impact on where Utd finish this season.

And if LVG sticks with his 3 CB plan I hope he realises he'll need 5-6 of them. Right now he just has 3.

Smalling, Jones, Evans, Blackett, Keane, and maybe Carrick (he actually looked good there last year and will extend his career). We are after Rojo to.

Plenty of cover, some cracking young players coming through.

I'm sure a novice like Lvg will happy for you to tell him how to be a top manager though. :?

Am so pumped for this season. That top 7 I listed, I did with no confidence at all.

A "fat unfit" shaw lol LVG didn't say he was unfit he said his fitness wasn't were it needed to be. He is most likely very fit as he looked fine in pre season but now that he is playing as a wing back he is basically playing 2 positions therefore needs to improve his fitness a touch.

Exactly plenty of players for cover right now even Shaw looks like he could play on the left side of a back 3 if need be.

But I guess all those trophies LVG has won mean nothing as he clearly has no idea what he is doing. Lol

Lol relying on unproven kids and out of position players as your entire depth. Sounds a lot like Arsenal before we had money.

And LVG has had one good season since 1999 as a club manager.
