Maybe for you.

We signed him from athletico when he was 21 not 12. He had been there since he was 10.
He is a massive athletico fan.

When Atletico are offering 5 million euro a season and Real are offering 20 million a season childhood loyalties are going to account for jackshit.

Like Charly implied, everyone has their limit of temptation resistance. Carragher was a die hard blue even while he came up through the Reds' ranks. Things change. De Gea will only resist Madrid because he is already settled at a massive club where they now have a vision to splurge on galactico signings.

1 point after that performance might be a relief, but FMD if you're 2-1 up in stoppage time and the opposition is down to 10 men then conceding a goal in unacceptable.

He is not at athletico now so what is your point?

De Gea never came through the Real Madrid youth set up, so nothing like Carra. He is an Athletico fan, who was there for years. So what is your point?

Anyway, we will see.

That equaliser was a disgrace to defending. To leave Skrtyl that unmarked was ridiculous.
The Arsenal equaliser when Liverpool lost 3 headers in the box wasn't great, but at least they tried to mark the Arsenal players.

Charly was merely speaking hypothetically.

I know Carra wasn't in the Everton youth development. My point was that things can change. Carra was a diehard Everton fan even after he debuted for Liverpool. It was only when he got sick of Everton fans giving him shit that he removed his love for them.

If De Gea were at Spurs for example, and then Real Madrid came in with a wonderful offer, I'd be willing to bet that he'd accept it.

I actually shook my head when Skrtel scored, and then just kind of laughed, with no real celebration like when Coutinho scored. I was resigned to losing, but the defence from both teams was so shit that I began to treat the whole game as a joke.

Not too dissimilar to Frank Lampard, who grew up watching his old man playing for West Ham and dreaming of following in his footsteps

The difference is that West Ham fans abuse players while they're still playing for them, because they think the likes of Scott Canham are better options

The last straw was when Frank broke his leg in a West Ham shirt and West Ham fans celebrated. So he moved to Chelsea, and the rest is history...

Stoke only 1 nil down to Chelsea. Hoping they bag a late one and steal the point and keep Chelsea within distance of United on the table. Going to be hard to chase down the four wins required to get in front.

Newcastle hiccup aside, Chelsea have been a class apart from the rest. I can't see them dropping the points post-Christmas this year like they've done in years gone.

You're too intelligent to waste time trolling Twiz

Leave that to the forum's bottom feeders

Ah well, seems like Chelsea are impervious to the cold night in Stoke.

10 points clear of United, one win clear of Man Shitty.
