Yeah but Arsenal always seem to scrape into the top 4 *somehow*, f**k, they've even been so lucky one time that Spurs got food poisoning before a match against West Ham that would have otherwuse sealed top 4 at the expense of Arsenal. Something flukey always goes right for Arsenal.

After 17 years straight, I wouldn't call it a fluke.

Tottenham or Liverpool making it once in a blue moon is flukey, but then order is restored the following year

Speaking of flukes, United absolutely stole 3 points this morning. Did not deserve a win, never looked like winning. Then in the 89th minute a newcastle defender passed it to the keeper instead of clearing like he should have. And then the keeper passes it neatly to Ashley Young instead of clearing. 1-0 to United and they only got their goal because TWO Newcastle players had brainsnaps.

Saw that, shocking stuff from Newcastle and rightly punished tho. United have a horror run coming up tho so they'll want to improve. Spurs, Liverpool, City and Chelsea in their next 5 games.

That's the story of United's season...

On current form I can't see them winning any of those games. Maybe a draw against Spurs and then 3 losses against Liverpool and the top 2.

Citeh don't have anything like the air of invincibility they had last season

I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped more points at Palace too

Nah, I wouldn't be surprised if City dropped points at OT, such is their inconsistency. A draw would be okay. But you're right Jimbo, they're very prone to dropping points at Palace too. If they keep doing it, they're even making it possible for Liverpool to finish second...I'm not putting money on it though.

Yet.

I think with City as the season winds down and 1st gets more and more out of reach they could get even more prone to dropping points.

My ideal would be
2. Arsenal
3. Liverpool
4. City
5. United (I want them to have the inconvenience of Europa)

Just found we have the most points over the last 20 games.

We are the champions of the league from October 25 onwards. There should be a trophy for that.
