19 Points required. Although it required a Loicy Remy cameo (Liverpool could have used him today).

Hazard's goal. Wow.

I don't know if we were just playing terribly, or the 3-4-3 formation was starting to get found out. But that loss is 90% Gerrard's fault. The game wasn't lost in the first half, it was lost on his red card. We had a great chance of pulling it back once he was on, but he made it too much about him f**king self.

credit to sir stevie for coming straight out and apologising, maybe herrera the dirty studs up f**ker should do the same.

the game was not lost on stevie, he came on and immediately gave the midfield some balls, we played with vaginas for 30 minutes of the first half, without stevie changing things up we may as well have been 3-4 down with 11 men

Hard to see how Gerrard is to blame for allowing Mata to stroll in for the first the way he did, considering he was sitting on the bench.

Probably saw the studs that didn't actually touch him and thought if he had some of those last year he wouldn't have slipped up quite so comically.

Skrtel's was not deliberate. He wasn't even looking at de Gea.

I sense a t shirt campaign coming.

I'm not going to sit here and serenade Steve for saying sorry. Because he f**king should be. When he leaves we'll probably win the league or something. He's like a curse to our league efforts.

Comes back to that lack of genuine leaders issue. Clearly Gerrard is not the leader he once was because his ability to change the game with his play is diminishing. You really need some old heads.

Yeah agree, we haven't had a midfield boss/general since Xabi IMO. His loss has been massive as the club has failed to replace or find someone like him. Last night we needed someone to get hold of the ball and settle the f**k down when he had it.

Wasnt just midfield either, we lack a Carragher style leader in defence. Moreno and Can had shockers and looked they were playing their first games in the EPL.

United just looked so comfortable, think Phil Jones was a lucky boy. Herrera did nothing wrong, Gerrard just lost his shit. Cracker of hit by Mata for his second goal as well, beautiful stuff as hard as it was to watch.

merkin effort by Gerrard. Inexcusable and anyone who does try to defend is as big a merkin as Gerrard.

i'm not excusing his moment of madness, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't compare to what roy keane did to alfe inge haaland, it hasn't take away from roy being their club legend. i find it absoluty disgusting that some "fans" today think that one incident tarnishes the career of the greatest club legend they've probably ever seen in their times.
