Have to agree with Dicko that the Widnes one was stuffed up by that strange triangle design at the top. Just plain weird.

Really hope they wear the retro socks with this jersey. The different coloured greens really dont work.

I'm not really sold on it as the stripes look really washed out with the player names in them.

Would have been much better to leave the stripes plain and have the names in a darker (current) green on the main part of the jersey.

It'dd solve the sock issue too.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out some of the designs GazF has done for the Auckland 9's. Some great stuff in there, particularly Bulldogs (vastly better than their actual 9's jersey) and sharks.

I love the texturing in these colours, but thats probably just personal taste.

Still a great design, simple, good throwback to their heritage. I wouldnt mind if this was their main jersey; better than the V.

They call it the legacy jersey and I think it's just a fans jersey at the moment because the only way that you can get it is if you buy a certain membership (diamond or platinum membership from memory), but it might turn into our heritage jersey.

Is the Wigan jersey awful because you are comparing it to the traditional design? Because I think its a beautifully designed jersey if you judge it as a stand alone jersey.

I really cannot figure it out.

They have the Telstra Premiership logo on it; i was under the impression that they needed to play in it to be allowed to have that. But they also have the pre-Super League team badge aswell.

Maybe they will use it in a trial or something.
