2014 V 2016 team difference

If we make the finals, the make up of both teams is staggering.

Thing is that if we make the final 8,we do it with only 4 players from the 2014 preliminary final V Dogs. Those players were Moylan,Mansour,DWZ and Latimore, with Whare and McKendry injured.

Don't know what has happened to Will Smith though.Ever since that brain snap of a missed catch on our line when the Sharks scored,I haven't noticed him ever since in any grade.Even in the Ron Massey Cup.

I know after 2014,a lot of the reserve grade were going to be let go among a couple of 1st graders.

But as a whole, the side is strikingly different to our lineup for this week.

When we make the finals

Hopefully Will Smith jumped on the Buzz Rothfield one way plane of no return...

Really surprises me though with only those 4 players there, but doesn't surprise me with Whare and McKendry injured once again. Poor fellas.

Our forward pack has come a long way, I don't think I can fit in any of the 2014 pack to our side now. We really overachieved that year, Sowie was on fire the back end of the season, I can still remember the game he schooled the cowboys and JT.

I think Segeyaro would maybe get a run in the form he was in that year. But it would be no certainty with the way Wallace is going. And Latimore is still there but not playing many minutes for quite some while.

In that form you would take him for sure but I kind of disregarded him considering what happened this year. But we had younger guys like Robinson, BMM, Anderson who cant get a run at any other NRL club plus the ageing Manu, Kite and Plum. Lewis Brown was probably the best of them tbh.

To be honest, we had no right to be there in 2014 and probably the same again this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see us miss the 8, but it's not out of the picture that we could find ourselves playing for the GF again. We have the talent on the park to do it, if we can put it together on the day.
