When you spend 300 million you'd think you could find some players with pace. Besides Martial they looked so old and slow.

Rooney is 30 this month, and he would have the legs of a 33 year old with the amount of football he has played. Schweinsteiger is 31, Carrick is 34. That's the best they could do with 300 million?

Rooney shouldn't see the first team for a month. He is only their because he is captain. Morgan S should partner either Carrick or Bastian. They haven't got the legs to play together.

I'd also put Blind to left back and Jones in the centre dont want to see wingers playing as fullbacks anymore.

Arsenal win the league?! City will romp it in.

I look forward to Sir Brendo being announced our manager soon enough. Perhaps he can teach Brana how to defend.

Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to the day that the big clubs break away and murder international football so I don't have to put up with these breaks?

My shitty Championship club is on a right roll atm and this is probably going to murder their momentum.

20% of the way through the season they have as many losses as us, and more in recent games. They have as many losses as United, and more than Leicester and Everton and Tottenham. What have they done to deserve your opinion of them? Just like us they have been spectacular at times and embarrassing at times. Over the 8 games they haven't done anything to be seen as a level above.

A few months ago, I said that Klopp would say yes to Liverpool.

"Only a deluded scouser would say this", someone said ;)

Aguero stretchered off for Argentina. If the injury is long term, could this be the stars aligning for Arsenal? City are favorites, Aguero is their best player, and probably the only one they can't replace easily.

With Chelsea's implosion, and Aguero's possible injury, maybe just maybe this is Arsenal's time.

Nice managerial appointment, not expecting miracles this season though. Can't do a heap in January usually. The off season will be important though

Aguero out for a month at least. If City are top when he comes back I think they are a certainties to win the league. If they aren't top, then it will be a fascinating 2nd half of the season.

And hopefully Liverpool with Klopp can take Chelsea's top 4 spot. Would love Roman to have to spend even more than usual to keep Chelsea running when they don't have CL money.
