Lindgaard almost scored a beauty at the end.

The sooner martial plays up top and LVG has the sack to bench Rooney the better you'll be IMO. Honestly believe if martial plays as the striker then you would've won. Rooney just far too slow and offering nothing at the moment.

I'd play Rooney in midfield. And Schweinsteiger should be a supersub, he can't handle playing the bulk of premier league games.

But I don't mind losing early in this cup. The difference between an early exit and a deep run could be 3 or 4 seven day breaks. And those are so valuable in the middle part of the season when there's so many fixtures.

Jose is going to get sacked pretty soon, only question would be who comes in to replace. Klopp is at slipperpool, Pep isn't leaving Munich, Carlo likely wouldn't return. Chelsea are just absolutely f**ked so far this season minus the annual spanking of Arsenal. Begovic is just gash and the defence doesn't do much to assist him. Seems like it. I don't want Rooney sold or anything but the fact that he won't bench him for bad form is f**ked up. Martial has shown to be a hell of a striker and deserves his shot. Rooney will keep playing like shit cause he knows he will still be starting week after week.

Yep and that's when the real rot can set in. Martial makes your attack so much more quick and dynamic. Looks strong and can beat a player with ease, surely Rooney as a impact off the bench late in the game is a better option moving forward.
