When in doubt as a Chelsea fan, talk about Steven Gerrard

Ahhh, the refs aye? Well I guess they're right that it is Clattenburg's fault that Costa stayed on the field...

Cahill is rubbish and Terry is past it.

I've decided to take the Chelsea line of thinking. f**kin refs won't let us score any goals.

You could blame the ref, but that doesn't excuse the absolute gash defending that has been plaguing the side all season. To go from the best defence in 14/15 to one of the worst in 15/16 shows something is really going bad with the back.

Begovic is struggling to find his feet and copping the blame because of the awful defence. Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry all need a swift kick up the arse. People want to blame Begovic but I doubt Courtois or Cech (had we kept him) would've been doing much better. Also, attack wise we seem void of ideas. Costa worries more about fouling than scoring, Hazard is back in May, and the midfield seems non-existant.

The CL is gone for next year barring a miracle run to the top 4 or winning the tournament (hahahahaha). Europa should be their focus, at the very minimum. Deadset crisis.

Also, Gerrard slipped and lost the title. They didn't come back from it. Chelsea can theoretically come back from this - 10 points with 27 games remaining. Yes it sounds outlandish, but (haha) a winning streak come about, that can be closed rather quickly. The title is gone (14 points), but not impossible (FIFA dream run).

Its certainly hard for your club to be admired when you assemble an expensive team of very good players to park the bus against inferior opposition. That's just literally taking the piss out of the game. No one hates them because they're winning, but because the way they conduct it.

Yes, their most elaborate and most well thought-out song is their Gerrard song. But you can't expect them to drop it any time soon because it is the biggest lyrical masterpiece they've ever been able to conjure- for any song.

They emanate a vibe of rich and spoilt brattiness. You seen their post-match report on their website? They have a reputation for posting overly-biased, sooky reports when they lose, and they've done it again.

Fouls that are physically slight in nature must be cynical in order to be worthy of a yellow. You could go either way on it but I don't think it was a cynical foul, and Ramires was falling into him. Lucas isn't that dumb.

Jose the genius mastermind. Saves himself a trip to Stoke by getting banned. The Special One.

And on the topic of Chelsea, they use their "poor us" thing like they're getting bullied. They think we're jealous of them. Do they ever wonder why City doesn't get anywhere near as much hate? It's not the money, it's the attitude, the personality, the style. Having unlimited resources and parking the bus. It's ridiculous.

And City are investing and doing some really nice things in the community in Manchester. Building infrastructure that is a real asset for everybody. Chelsea are just cynical and negative despite all the imaginable advantages they have.

Fabegas did not play like that or display that attitude against west ham that I noticed.

Hazard gone in January?

A “Chelsea first-team player” has said he would “rather lose than win” for manager Jose Mourinho, according to 5 live’s Garry Richardson.
Speaking on Sunday’s Sportsweek, Richardson said he had been passed the information by a “football contact” who told him the Blues boss’ relationship with players was at “rock bottom”.
"I was told they're fed up with the way he's been dealing with some of them. They're fed up with his outbursts. I was told that his relationship, particularly with Eden Hazard, was under immense strain," he said.
It comes after Chelsea were defeated 3-1 at home by Liverpool on Saturday. The champions have lost six of their first 11 games and are 14 points off Premier League leaders Manchester City.

 You won one game any you're acting like you won a moral crusade against us.

And when was the last time Gerrard was mentioned, besides by yourself? I was too busy singing songs about your choice of meals, what your mum does for a living and where your dad currently resides like every other club does.

I noticed you weren't singing Jose Mourinho we want you to stay like we did to Rafa.

Liverpool were the better side and deserved their win, doesn't change that Lucas deserved to be sent off.
