Glad Foxtel have coverage of the lower grades because of this, even if Belcher sounds likes he's done no preparation

I hope their philosophy takes off but there's still a long way to until it'd work consistently in the NRL. Sides like the Roosters and melbourne in particular would cut them to shreds.

Hopefully the Jets getting so far though will allow coaches to see though that doing some unpredictable things do work sometimes.

I don't think you could do it for a full NRL game, but as you say there's no reason that you couldn't incorporate these things in to change things up and surprise some teams.
