1. Bulldogs - With Graham leading them around, Morris twins firing I see them winning both Minor and the big one.
2. Roosters
3. Souths - With a premiership hangover and the loss of big Sam I don't see them reaching the grand final.
4. Panthers - I see them coming up short in the grand final.
5. Warriors - Expect Shaun Johnson to win Golden Boot back to back.
6. Cowboys - Thurston to win Dally M
7. Broncos
8. Knights
9. Sea Eagles
10. Storm
11. Dragons
12. Raiders
13. Eels
14. Titans
15. Tigers
16. Sharks

Bulldogs will not win the Minor Premiership, Premiership or Wooden Spoon. I predict they will finish 9th.

I know it never happens this way, but I see the eight being the same as last year's - albeit in a different order (which is impossible to predict given injuries, and shit refereeing)

And that's from a Warriors fan.

But all you need is Johnson to finally step up when it matters and i think he might be ready

If Parramatta still had Hayne I think we'd have to have a real shot at making the top eight, now I'm not so sure.

I think you have Manly and the Storm a bit too low and if the Sharks stay healthy they won't get the spoon again.

Explain why a team hasn't gone back to back in over 20 years then? Salary cap doesn't bite that quick.
Because winning the Premiership is a matter of timing, injuries and momentum. Plenty of teams have had the opportunity to go back to back but have one or more of those elements go against them

Roosters could easily have won it this year but some key injuries and coming up against Souths a week too early derailed them. I'm reminded of. Similarly Melbourne 08 lost Cam Smith

Frankly if Premiership hangover is a thing then so is runners up hangover. Every Second placed team in recent years has fallen off the radar next year

Geeze I seem to remember one betting company paying out on Manly for the minor premiership a few weeks out because they seemingly had it won.

Sharks willbe in the top 8, or not far off it. they have a coach who wants to be there, ASADA is behind them and they have a decent roster with some good young blokes coming through and a few decent signings.

I just want to Panthers to atleast match last years efforts, and if we have a full strength or near full strength squad, we should be a chance at making the Grand Final. Not sure Soward can perform as well as he did last year though. His form once Wallace went down was unbelievable. the difference between being a fringe top 8 side and potential grand finalists will be primarily on his form.

Yes it's all those things but Premiers have 2 equally important factors to contend with:

1. (Subconscious) loss of intensity / desire - they might say they train as hard or focus as much but it's human nature to drop off a bit after something has been achieved. A 5% drop off could be the difference between Premiers & missing the grand final.

2. Target on the back...everyone wants their scalp & they lift accordingly. Premiers don't get many easy games.
