Celtics got passed the Wizards in game 1 after starting the game on the wrong side of a 16-0 run.

Meanwhile the Clippers dished their usual playoffs rubbish and lost to the Jazz in game 7.

All conference semis are set now. I expect both GSW and Clevelend to progress easily but the other 2 should be fun, especially Spurs/Rockets.
gs have played 2 at home, look for the jazz to win 2 of the next 3. as i have made clear, we match up pretty well

Spurs v Warriors for the Western Conference Finals

Man Harden came up smaller than small today

Anyone who seriously thinks that LeBron isn't the 2017 MVP must be a troll.

Harden flopped. Westbrick FG% like 250th in the NBA plus a 1st rnd exit.

Meanwhile the Cavs are a lottery team for the no.1 pick without LeBron but defending champs and currently 8-0 in the play offs with him.

It's no contest.

That's not entirely true... They may have been a lottery team when he was in Miami...

But as soon as he came back they added a heap of talent to help him.

if Lebron got injured in the preseason and didn't play a single minute of the season... the Cavs would probably still make the playoffs in the East with Kyrie, Love, Thompson, Korver and J.R Smith.

The Cavs didn't win a single game without LeBron this year.

They were something like 0-6 without him with mostly double digit losses.

Add to that that Spurs won easily against Houston without Leonard and you start thinking in San Antonio it is coaching more than Kahwi.

With Lebron he could almost get coach of the year I think.

MVP is rightly going to go to Westbrook though. They should announce the award straight after the regular season so it isn't tainted by Lebron's now habitual shift to next level for the play offs. Then next level again for the finals.

How many of those 6 games was it just Lebron out though...

A lot of those games they rested a number of key players together...

Add to that the eastern conference is a joke... No way Lebron goes to anywhere near as many finals if he was coming out of the west.

Do you reckon he would have gone to a shit west team??

No chance. He goes to the warriors or spurs or even OKC

Just say this Cavs team was in the West... They would be in a shit fight to get out of the West.

Even look at last season... They won it all.... But a serious argument could be made that they could have lost to The Warriors, OKC or even the Spurs if they went into a series with any of them.

Either way... He doesn't go to as many finals as he has through the East...

Thats probably true but he would have won a ring pretty much every time he got out of the west. So he wouldn't have to put up with these unfair MJ 6 out of 6 comparisons.

I cannot believe that the Spurs blew a 25pt lead to the Warriors. Losing Kawhi late in the game obviously didn't help. A win to the Spurs would have set this series up nicely.

Here's hoping Kawhi is fit for game 2.

Celtics win in 7.....ECF - Cavs vs Celtics.

Can't see the Celtics getting close in this series. 4-1 to the Cavs.

The 'East is weak' argument got old about 2 years ago. Yes the West top tier is still slightly above the East top tier but we're not talking much difference any more.

I just watched 5 minutes of Cavs v Celtic. LBJ is making them look like high school kids. Total dominance. Lets get on with the finals.
