It probably took years off most sharks fans lives. But after 50 f**kn years. Would you really have it any other way? The way it finished just cemented it forever in your memory.

Every second of that last play I reckon I’ve looked at many times. And you notice so many small things that happened that made the difference to them surviving the play.

Will never forget.
I don't think any tv angle replay does justice to how Melbourne should have scored on that last play when the ball went to the left compared to being at the ground. I thought it was all over.

Had to watch this at 3am living in Canada on the world's grainiest stream trying not to wake up my roommate...drinking like a maniac to calm my nerves. Had never showed up to work so pissed (until we beat the Cows the game after haha). Almost got fired and thus deported when I told my boss I was flying to Sydney for the grand final with two day's notice!

Almost got fired.. ? Did you go?

3 very different finals games. The Holy Trinity for mine and was fortunate enough to attend all of them.

1. Raiders - such an atmosphere. Went in thinking we had no chance. Mate picked me up with my 2 Kids and headed down. Had a couple on board and took some roadies as thought we would get done and wanted to go to merely give it to all the green feckers. Somehow won and was pissed as a newt. In that game when Wade went off what a game from the Human Head Job!!!!

2. Dominated the Cows. I think the only Sharks finals game I have ever been to ( barring maybe the playoff against the broncs at parramatta) where early in the game I knew we would win and I was able to enjoy the game.

3 Melbourne - enough said. My reaction to that game was much like the famous reaction from, I think it was Raylene Boyle, who, after Cathy Freeman won said “ what a relief”

I was seated behind the try line about 40 rows up in the lower bowl in line with the corner post when they started spreading it when we had every single player on the left hand side of the posts. I don't think you've known fear until you see that moment live.

The plan to work Cameron Smith over all game and fatigue him paid off because threw a tired average pass to Hampton and if it was on his chest he pins the ears back and it's serious shit time.

Bukuya holds up Vunivalu just enough for the middles to shift across and put pressure on.

Then on the shift back Smith looks to kick in behind for Vunivalu and Ennis drops back a little bit when he sees it which makes him stutter for a second.

Honestly you notice so many things when you watch it again haha.
