Plenty of players there to get excited about. Not sure if Whitehead and Burgess should really be considered rookies. Mitchell looks like the pick of that bunch so far.

Packer has already played a ton of games. One of his most memorable ones was when he literally pissed himself on the field.

Eden would probably be on his last chance this round after last weeks shocker.

i can't recall that incident.. was that when he was playing for the cutters last year? if so, shouldn't be counted as it was NSW cup..

Who is this Eden you speak of?
The only player to debut for the Broncos this year is the English Billy Slater.
Well that's what he was known as prior to round 1, haven't heard anyone mention EBS since.

He has played at least a hundred games for the Warriors..and represented the national team a couple of times..so i don't think he will qualify under the NRL's strict guidelines.

He probably still needs a bit of cooking but he's an exciting prospect.

Yeah I'm.not sure Sticky has pulled the right rein here.
Huge pressure on young Croker.
Great prospect .. but I'd of gone for the tougher more mature body in Wighton at 5/8
Rapana to Fullback
& Sisa Waqa onto the wing

you can't count junior games.. Jack Bird played about the same number coming up through the dragons system.. But he's still labelled a Cronulla rookie..

personally i say kudos to the NRL for having two mature age rookies in packer and Cody Walker debut in the same round..

I wasn't a fan of moving Wighton because then we're effectively weakening 2 positions rather than 1.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon at the Knights and Kerrod Holland at the Dogs look like the other two to be joining the rookie class of 2016 this round.
