I said the same last year some time...

They are finally onto a winner with this Black, White and Gold and all they need as a design to match.

Knowing the panthers though, theyll be green and brown by next year...

Here's a stab at trying to combine old and new. The black is slightly brown.

For a guy who is meant to be the Godfather of RL History an defender of all things heritage, Gus doesnt seem to give too much of a shit about Panthers history ("f*ck it, lets make then blue").

Even on The Roast he use the whinge about clubs having to many jerseys and that his son follows Tigers but they were yet to wear the jersey he owns on game day.

Then he becomes boss of The Riff and thier jerseys have been all over the place.

The gold on the Panthers jerseys this year, was only ever going to be used this year for the 50th Season brouhaha that was going on - That was stated from the outset from Gus, so there were always plans to change it again next season

The All-Sorts one is tops and should be our main strip for years to come

Totally agree with the ANZAC one but the 3 heritage for this season (50th) have all been great IMO

The jersey designs would have been approved around this time last year, and the manufacturing process not much later. Unfortunately, that means that any sponsorship changes , or sponsors that are not finalised, won't be on the retail versions. It also means that some on field jerseys have patches covering old sponsors or that are new sponsors. There are plenty of examples of this on the player issue jerseys, where the retail versions still have old / no sponsors present.

Pretty much. Storm nines jersey also differed between on field and retail this year as it had Vitara as the sleeve sponsor too.

Interestingly, a couple of weeks after Infinity jumped on board the Sharks, the club started selling jersey's with them on the jersey.

That would have been new stock from Blades. Parramatta had a new bunch of jerseys with Infinity ready for delivery when Infinity jumped ship. The Parra jerseys now have an xblades patch covering Infinity on the retail jerseys-you can see the Infinity mark from the inside of the jersey. At the start of this year, the Parra retail jerseys didn't have a top back sponsor, obviously early stock from before Infinity was made the then sponsor.

Just had it confirmed the Raiders will wear the Ricky Stuart foundation jersey again on Sunday to avoid a serious clash with the Rabbitohs
