Agree.... anyone looking for some 70's style curtin fabric?

Whoever designs the Nike rugby league jerseys are a joke. Broncos keep coming out with shocker after shocker.

It's especially confusing because all Nike's soccer jerseys are excellent.

Panthers are the only team not to have a dedicated 9's jersey...

Now I'm conflicted - On one hand, the less jerseys there are, the better my wallet looks - On the other hand though, kind of makes our team look a little less professional.

My understanding was the NRL issued a directive to the club to use the pink kit - presumably to avoid clashes with the other clubs who'd already submitted designs.

Anyway here's the remaining two jerseys up close - Raiders and Gold Coast:

My rankings.

1. Knights - Awesome, perfect combination of club colours and 9's "not too serious" theme.
2. Tigers - Also awesome, could probably have included a bit more orange but that being picky.
3. Titans - Great effort, fits the feel of the 9's.
4. Roosters - Tiny bit on the plain side if it wasn't for the watermark, but a really good design.
5. Broncos - Rains shit all over their alternate jersey and should probably replace it.
6. Dragons - Top effort
7. Sharks - A bit on the cartoonish side but suits the 9's
8. Eels - Same as above
9. Sea Eagles - Completely destroyed by the sponsor logo, would have been much higher
10. Warriors - Cool design if you want a massive tattoo or artwork, but from a distance looks like a newspaper, boring.
11. Storm - Pretty plain and boring, and the sponsors logo looks cheap and tacky.
12. Souths - Too much like a regular season jersey, good design but should just be an alternate.
13. Raiders - Plain and boring
14. Bulldogs - Same as above
15. Cowboys - Way too plain, looks like a bulldogs alternate jersey. Could have done so much better.
16. Panthers - At least try.

Asked the Panthers about our lack of a Nines jersey and got back

Due in part to NRL directives we will be wearing our 2016 Away Jersey.

Now I'm really confused - So who's decision was it? Did the NRL say "No, we want you to wear the Pink one even though every other team can have a dedicated one"

Or, was it more the Panthers saying "We couldn't be bothered, let the NRL pick then we can tell fans it was an NRL directive"?

It's the "in part" bit that's throwing me.
