The perfect modern take on the NSW jersey is already released. Unfortunately it is running around in the wrong code

As much as i hate union, i have to admit that the waratahs have nailed that jumper
Sometimes the most simplest of designs have the best effect.

A sky blue jersey with a navy blue collar.

Pretty hard concept to grasp for Classic it seems........

Flicking through the Rebel Sport catalogue made me realise why the NRL shoots itself in the foot. Soccer jerseys (including English Premier League ones) = $100. They are even selling NFL jerseys (which would have come from the US) at $110.

NFL jerseys - $180. An absolute disgrace and they wonder why going to the game isn't affordable

And that's where the affordability ends with the PL compared to NRL.

I always giggle when I hear people complain about how expensive tickets are. I was paying more to watch a 5th tier English football side last season than I did to watch Souths with my train ticket from out west included.

I was in Rebel and Classic have made a more digestible cotton origin jersey. Normal navy collar, still has white under the arms but no ridiculous chevrons.

They wanted $169.99 for it though.

They're dreaming

I wish the On-field jersey would go back to cotton, it looked a million times better...

I know Clubs are trying to get a small advantage out of the polyester shit they trot out, but if the NRL were to standardise the jersey for all teams then none would get the advantage.

On field, that will never ever ever happen. There isn't a single professional sports league in the world still wearing cotton.

Manufacturers could do a better job of offering both options. ISC in UK offer polyester and cotton jerseys to fans. I can only recall origin, kangaroos and the wallabies still offering both options

yeh, its such a ridiculous idea that the Origin side abolished way back in the ancient times of 2008.

You can really sook when people don't agree with your stupid ideas!

Looking forward to this brainwave because a regular staple along with your monthly "let's run ANZ east/west" and "let's club all clubs letter monogram logos"
