Just took a look at this years membership packaged and have to say I'm pretty impressed with what the club has put together. Looks like Jim and his team have really listed to what the fans from outside of Aucklamd want as they're offering specific packages for fans in NSW, Qld, Vic and WA as well as a package for NZ fans outside Auckland and a non-ticketed package. I'm hoping the club really push memberships hard this year because with these offerings we really should be able to get some impressive membership numbers, which as Souths have shown goes a big way towards club profitability. Nice to see that we're already near 10K but I'd hope they can more than double that.

At Whangarei yesterday the number of club jerseys on display was impressive.

Are there other packages I can't find because I looked at the NSW ones and they're pretty average - choice of one game in NSW and then a game in NZ (or the same pack but with two tickets).

Yeah it's just the one or two game packages or the unticketed scarf membership. I'd guess away memberships with more tickets would get prohibitively expensive as the club would have to pay other clubs for the tickets.
I'm happy enough with it.

It's not worth it for me, I'll just pick and choose which games I want to go to. If they're bumbling around like last year I'll just watch on TV with my hands covering my eyes.

Why not get a scarf membership then? You still help bolster the clubs membership numbers and get some goodies.
I'm planning to go to Melbourne on Anzac weekend so I'll either get a one game Vic membership even though I'm in Sydney, or a 2 game NSW membership. I don't think you have to nominate your games at time of purchase do you?

I'm going to the Melbourne game, but courtesy of the Storm. Will be cheering for the Warriors but hope that all those Maori forwards (and Asofa-Solomona) do well for the Storm.

TBH, a grand final without the Warriors is just like Origin to me, it's just another game ... back in the 90s I would have given my right arm to go to a final between any teams (maybe not St George and Brisbane back then) ... but now I'm happy to watch on the box at home or head down to the pub.

Another apparent sign of good leadership from Jim.

Can anyone remember the f**king ridiculous 'loyalty' campaign run under Scurrah, in I think 2014? I remember posting with particular vitriol. Something like 'are you loyal' under the pretence that if you didn't pay the escalating prices for descending performances, you weren't a true fan. It was f**king abysmal.

So it's great us fans are not being treated as the family dog who'll never run away.
